Good Morning Fellow Runners, The Daisy Chain results are in (click here).
Well Done to everyone who took part, it was a another warm one for you all, but you all did brilliant!

Hope you all enjoyed the route? a nice little bank in there to challenge you, which you did amazingly! Its a tough climb that one. It was great to see you all on the start line and after letting the hundreds of cars through were we able to set up off!

A huge thank you to all my marshal’s who helped to guide you round the route. The First Aid Team, who thankfully didn’t need to attend any incidents. My core Team on registration and timing great job guys as always.

Big thank you to Daisy Chain the venue was great, with good facilities. As promised to give a £1 from each runner entered with 131 runners and additional donations £150 was given to the charity. So, thank you all very much for coming along and supporting this event I know the families with autism will benefit from that.

Next Race! our next 5k trail is part of the Summer Series (no 3) is at the stunning venue of Lordstones. You really dont want to miss that one. Check out the website for more details.

Results Tees Barrage 5k Trail Series Race 2 Summer 2017

The results are in for the Tees Barrage 5k Summer Series Trail. Well Done to all those who came out on such a scorching summer night. The conditions were extremely hot! Hope you enjoyed the route and the fantastic surroundings of the International White Water Course.

Huge thank you to all the Marshal’s, First Aid Team and our core Team. You all did a marvellous job as always.

If you are totally new to the trail series a huge warm welcome we hope you enjoyed the run.

Wynyard Hall 10k Trail Race 2017

Sunday 24th September 2017

New to Muddy Roads this exciting 10k trail will take you around the stunning grounds of Wynyard Hall. Running deep through the beautiful forestry, alongside the lake and past the enchanting Wynyard Hall. The course is undulating with plenty of opportunities to take in the beautiful surroundings.

Tees Barrage 10k Race Information

Dear Fellow Runners,

Thank you for entering the Tees Barrage 10k race on Monday 1st May 2017. Detailed below is some important information about the event. Please read it carefully. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact the Race Director.

Location & Registration

Durham University Queens Campus Sports Centre, University Blvd, Stockton-on-Tees. TS17 6BH. There is plenty of free parking both at Durham University Sports Centre and at the Whitewater Sports Centre.

Registration

Registration opens at 09:00 and will close at 10:15am. Please allow yourself plenty of time as it will get really busy, goodie bags will be collected in registration.

Race Number

Race numbers will be collected on the day in registration. Designated queues will be formed in alphabetical order so please ensure on arrival you are in the correct line. Please ensure that your race numbers are pinned to your front so it can easily be seen by the timekeepers. Please ensure that you wear the correct number that you are registered with for Health & Safety. Please complete the medical information form on the back. Under no circumstances must the race number be transferred without the organisers consent.

Race

The race will start at 10:30am starting on Navigation Way approximately 300 meters from registration, close to the barrage (see map attached). The terrain is all on tarmac, mainly flat with a few slight inclines, taking in some fantastic iconic landmarks along the way. The course is well marked out with directional arrows and marshals on all key points. There will be a lead cyclist to guide the start of the race. There will also be a sweep first aid cyclist at the back. There is a water station situated half way round the course. The finish is located near the start next to the university on the south side of the river.

Facilities

At the Durham University Queens Campus Sports Centre there are plenty of toilet and changing facilities, showers, baggage area. There are catering facilities on site selling a great variety of food and drink. There are sports massages and physio’s at the finish to help with any sore muscles!

First Aid

First Aid will be onsite and around the course. Should you require any medical attention please let the nearest marshal know, who will contact the first aiders.

Prizes

Prize presentation will be done at 11:45am near to the finish location. There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd and vet prizes given. Keep your race number on as we will be donating some fantastic prizes which include a great meat hamper, and Air trail tickets kindly donated by Hall’s Meat and Tees Active. Goody bags are given to all participants.

Good Morning Fellow Runners, the results are in for the First race of the summer series (Newham Grange farm). Hope you all enjoyed the new route?

Newham Grange Farm Results April 2017

What a great start to the series! It was wonderful to see you all, some fantastic times by everyone. If you are totally new to these trails a great big welcome by everyone hope you enjoyed your first trail. The weather was perfect for the run, warm and wind free!

Huge thank you to Davey who managed the marshal’s and lead you all out on his bike. Big thank you to all the marshal’s great job as always. Thank you to my first aid team, thank fully their services were not needed.

Phil Jarvis I have to say your scanning skills are perfect am afraid you cant run these trails anymore as i need you for scanning haha. Tees Barrage 10k May 1st

The Tees Barrage 10k Race continues to attract the abilities of all runners from clubs to recreational. This popular race aims to promote running, encourage healthy living and to promote the great icon landmarks around the Tees between the Newport and the Millennium bridges. This is a great course for a PB, or if you are new to 10k’s.

Registration, changing facilities and baggage are at Durham University sports hall which is approx 5 mins walk from the start line. Address: University Blvd, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BH.

– Free parking and plenty of toilets.
– Water on route and at the finish.
– First Aid tent.
– Sports Therapist Fitness. Great sports massages available on the day 10 minute tasters for a donation which all proceeds will be going to charity, or a 20 minute massage for £10. Pre-race taping is also available in registration.

Newham Grange Farm 5k – Summer Series Race 1

First race of 6 in the Muddy Roads Tees Trail ‘Summer Series’ previously known as the Tees Trail Series.

A blast from the past! Newham Grange Farm Trail was introduced to the Summer Series many years ago. This trail offers a fantastic mix of terrain with almost a mile loop around the farm before taking you into the scenic woodland area. This route starts on tarmac put quickly take you on the trails with a few up hills and a few downhills. A good mix for everyone!

Registration, is at the farm so watch out for the bulls, they may want to enter with you!

– Free parking, with overflow parking available.
– Toilets are on site too.
– Refreshments will be available.
