Muddy Roads 5km Summer Series: They’re Back for 2024!

How’s about lacing up those trainers for the Muddy Roads 5km Summer Series? Whether you’re a proper club runner or just fancy a jog, these events are perfect. They’re all about community vibes, a good laugh, and some beautiful routes. Plus, we’ve got a brilliant deal this year – if you sign up for the whole series, you get one event absolutely FREE!

Here’s the great lineup:

Race 1: The Middridge, 25th April

Race 2: The Saltburn, 23rd May

Race 3: Lordstones, 20th June

Race 4: The Pine Forest, 18th July

Race 5: Newham Grange Farm, 22nd August

Race 6: Venue TBC 5th September

Aged 12 or over? Brilliant, you’re in! There’s plenty of parking, and don’t fret, we’ve got loos sorted too.

Registration opens: 17:30 – 18:20pm

Races Start: 18:30pm

Looking for a bit of a challenge? Over £1000 in prizes are up for grabs throughout the series. And here’s a special shoutout: the top Male and female of the series will each be pocketing £100, all thanks to Up&Running in Darlington. But there’s more! We’ve thrown in an extra prize for clubs this year. Fancy yourself as part of a winning team? Round up two males and two females for each race. The team with the most points at the end bags £100 for their club. And don’t be shy – enter as many teams as you like!

*PLEASE NOTE – You MUST enter the series before the start of the first race, once the first event has been delivered you will no longer be able to enter the series as a whole. You will then need to enter each race separately.

Just a couple of small notes: no dogs, please, and the route’s not ideal for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
