The Tees Barrage 10k Race continues to attract the abilities of all runners from clubs to recreational. This popular race aims to promote running, encourage healthy living and to promote the great icon landmarks around the Tees between the Newport and the Millennium bridges. This is a great course for a PB, or if you are new to 10k’s.
Registration, changing facilities and baggage are at Durham University sports hall which is approx 5 mins walk from the start line.
Don’t miss out on this great race as it fills up fast. No on the day entry. Race is not suitable for wheelchairs or dogs.
Free parking and water on route.
At the Durham University Queens Campus Sports Centre there are plenty of toilet and changing
facilities, showers, baggage area. Address: University Blvd, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BH..
There are catering facilities in the International White Water course and the Talpore.
First Aid will be onsite and around the course. Should you require any medical attention please let the nearest marshal know, who will contact the first aiders.

Age on race day: 15+
£12.00 if affiliated, £14.00 if unattached
Prize presentation will be done at 11:45am near to the finish location. There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
vet prizes given.
An additional cash prize will be given to the winner who can beat the time of the 10k when muddy roads took over in 2016. The time to beat set by Andy Wiles of New Marske Harriers is 00:32:24 Think you can beat it?
Goody bags are given to all participants.
The terrain is all on tarmac, mainly flat with a few slight inclines, taking in some fantastic iconic landmarks along the way. The course is well marked out with directional arrows and marshals on all key points. There will be a lead cyclist to guide the start of the race. There will also be a sweep first aid cyclist at the back. There is a water station situated halfway round the course. The finish is located near the start next to the university on the south side of the river.
