The Route Map: Click on the link to see the route: Trimdon 5km Loop

The course: This is a brand-new route and is different to the Pie and Pea trail (if you attended that one) You will hit similar sections as the pie and pea route but make sure you follow the arrows, directions of the marshals to ensure you don’t go wrong.

The course starts on a flat open field before heading off down a trail path onto a big open field, there is a narrowing section before the field so please take care, the terrain is beautiful underfoot and is flat along these sections. Once off the field the route then snakes you around the beautiful woodland area onto an abundance of nature. Please take care around these sections as there are tree stumps and roots along the pathway. There are no gates or styles to cross on this route (you will be pleased to know ha). The course is mainly flat with a beautiful downhill section through the woods. There is one main incline before you start to head back to the finish. There are marshals on all key areas but keep an eye out for eye level directional arrows as well as floor arrows to help guide you around the course. Please familiarise yourself with the route.

Start: Once you have collected your race number/registered, please make your way to the start. The start is located on the field approx. 0.31 meters from the community centre. There will be directional arrows to help guide you to the start.

Important: there to be absolutely no clearing of nasal or respiratory secretions whilst waiting or running. If necessary, it must be done at least 10m away from anyone else on course. Participants advised not to run in slipstream of other participants.

Finish: The finish is located on the same field as the start. Once you have come over the ‘finish mat’ please be mindful of other runners coming through and maintain your distance

First Aid: There will be First aiders (Total Events Safety Team) on site. If you require attention/help during the race or after, please ask any marshal who will contact the first aiders.
