Muddy Roads 5km Summer Series: They're Back for 2024! How's about lacing up those trainers for the Muddy Roads 5km Summer Series? Whether you're a proper club runner or just fancy a jog, these events are perfect. They're all about community vibes, a good laugh, and some beautiful routes. Plus, we've got a brilliant deal this year – if you sign up for the whole series, you get one event absolutely FREE! Here's the great lineup: Race 1: The Middridge, 25th April Race 2: The Saltburn, 23rd May Race 3: Lordstones, 20th June Race 4: The Pine Forest, 18th July Race 5: Newham Grange Farm, 22nd August Race 6: Venue TBC 5th September Registration for the whole series ends on Tuesday 23rd April Aged 12 or over? Brilliant, you're in! There's plenty of parking, and don't fret, we've got loos sorted too. Registration opens: 17:30 – 18:20pm Races Start: 18:30pm Looking for a bit of a challenge? Over £1000 in prizes are up for grabs throughout the series. And here's a special shoutout: the top Male and female of the series will each be pocketing £100, all thanks to Up&Running in Darlington. But there's more! We've thrown in an extra prize for clubs this year. Fancy yourself as part of a winning team? Round up two males and two females for each race. The team with the most points at the end bags £100 for their club. And don't be shy – enter as many teams as you like! You MUST enter a club team 4 from the first 5 races in the series for your club to be eligible for the £100 prize! *PLEASE NOTE – You MUST enter the series before the start of the first race, once the first event has been delivered you will no longer be able to enter the series as a whole.
