The course starts on a flat open field before heading off down a trail path onto a big open field, the terrain is beautiful underfoot and is flat along these sections. Once off the field the route then snakes you around the beautiful woodland area onto an abundance of nature. Please take care around these sections as there are tree stumps and roots along the pathway. The course has a few little climbs but has quite a long flat and a beautiful downhill section through the woods. There are marshals on all key areas but keep an eye out for eye level directional arrows as well as floor arrows to help guide you around the course.
START: Once you have collected your race number please make your way to the start The start is located on the field approx. 0.31 meters from the community centre. There will be directional arrows to help guide you to the start.
FINISH: The finish is located on the field same place as the start. Once you have come over the ‘finish mat’ please be mindful of other runners coming through.

Once you have finished the race, you must head straight back to the community centre to collect your Pie & Peas. Please do not hang around the finish area waiting for family/friends/club members. This will only create a mass group of runners piling back into the community centre, creating a congestion of those using the toilets and collecting pies.
